After about 7 years in the world of MMO gaming I've come to the conclusion that days passes by to fast without me getting to do anything besides gaming... so I stopped Rift as well.

Last week I got an invite to play the Settlers online beta and I think I'll stick to that until.... well, actually also after Diablo III comes along with the real life auction house and all that. Exciting stuff. I love Settlers so I'm pretty sure I'll continue on after beta is done.

1992-1998 I got internet with dial up back in '92 and the first online game I ever played was Novalogic's Delta Force and later the sequels. But I also dabbled in Hyperiums and Heroes of might and magic 2-4. My first online nicknames were Agony, Nakedsoul and Black Sparrow. I also did Age of Empires under the name Ravenhawk.

1999-2003 A world before MMO's, a time spendt playing FPS (First person shooter) games under the nick Black-Sparrow in the Novalogic games Black hawk down and Joint Operations.

2005-2011 6 years in Azeroth (WoW) through Classic in the guild Illuminati, through the burning crusade in the guild Into Oblivion, through Wrath of the Lich king in the guilds Mojo Madness & CSI Thunderbluff, through Cataclysm in the guild CSI Thunderbluff. Silverhawk stayed on the server Vashj for all 6 years but visited Bronzebeard briefly the last month to keep in touch with a friend.

2011 Then rumors of a new world, Telara (Rift), came calling and Silverhawk packed up and left to test out the beta. After 2 hours in Telara the subscription of WoW froze and Rift became the main focus. So far I'd say Rift is the best game for a casual player and PvP is way better than in WoW.

Since MMO's eat up days of my life I decided to quit it back in November 2011 and find games that takes less time. So now the games played are Starcraft 2, Hyperiums, Heroes of might and magic 6 and Settlers online.
